Allison founded Allison Duffy, An Accountancy Corporation in 2021 and was met with great success. In 2024 she decided to spin the accounting practice into DCI Accounting Group to better equip each team with the tools needed to serve its clients. Allison’s passion for education and business continues to grow as she serves her clients and her community.

Allison has almost 20 years of experience in tax and accounting, serving in public accounting for nearly a decade and internally in a corporate tax department, serving as the number two in tax for a multinational corporation with an annual revenue of a billion dollars. She has been licensed by the State of California as a Certified Public Accountant since 2009. Allison holds a Masters of Science degree in Taxation from Boise State University, and Certificate in International Taxation from Golden Gate University. She has also had a series of tax research articles published by LexisNexis.

As a lifetime learner Allison has continued to stay connected to the problems of small business owners by pursuing continuing education in accounting and technology via QuickBooks, Gusto, Expensify, Monday.com, Make.com and Bill.com certification programs.

In her downtime, Allison enjoys her project home in Scotts Valley that is home to her 6 year son, 17 chickens, 2 cats and whatever she and her son find in the local creek - usually newts, little trout and frogs.
